Doctorally trained and credentialed Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with more than 37 years of diverse healthcare experience. Her background spans outpatient and hospital-based care, managed care, public health, data analysis, analytical tool development, and undergraduate- and graduate-level education. She is deeply committed to caring for older adults and individuals living with chronic health conditions, and she is passionate about improving care delivery through thoughtful process optimization and continuous quality improvement.

Rosemarie brings extensive experience in home-based primary care within continuing care communities and private residences. She works collaboratively with facility staff, care managers, and ancillary therapy providers to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care that consistently addresses medical, psychological, and social needs. Her approach emphasizes dignity, coordination, and continuity of care for every patient she serves.

She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Nursing Administration degrees from George Mason University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University.

Outside of her professional role, Rosemarie is a devoted wife, mother of two adult children, and proud grandmother to three granddaughters. She resides in Vienna, Virginia with her husband and their Black Lab, Bella. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to the beach and spending meaningful time with her family.

With a deep commitment to nurturing both mind and body, she brings over eight years of experience delivering comprehensive, holistic care that thoughtfully addresses physical and mental health needs. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in primary care and by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical expertise centers on integrating mental health care seamlessly within primary care settings to support whole-person wellness.

Her approach is grounded in an understanding of the close connection between physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Whether managing chronic medical conditions, providing mental health support, or emphasizing preventive care, she partners with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, values, and goals.

She is dedicated to creating a compassionate, healing environment that fosters trust, resilience, and long-term well-being.

 

Outside of clinical practice, she enjoys mindfulness activities, spending time outdoors, and participating in community health initiatives.

Cathryn’s career has been rooted in oncology and clinical research across both inpatient and outpatient settings, where she is known for bringing compassion, expertise, and deep respect for the whole person to every patient interaction. Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), she is committed to advancing patient care through holistic, integrative, and evidence-based approaches, always grounded in collaboration and trust.

She is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner with more than 35 years of experience in healthcare. Cathryn earned her Master of Science in Nursing from George Mason University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland at Baltimore, building a strong academic foundation for a career defined by clinical excellence and thoughtful care.

​

Beyond her clinical work, Cathryn has volunteered with the Fairfax County Medical Reserve Corps and the Arlington Free Clinic, reflecting her long-standing dedication to community health, equity, and expanding access to care for those who need it most.

​

Outside of work, she finds balance and renewal through yoga and hiking, cherishes time with her three adult children, and lovingly cares for the many animals who share her life.
